About Jermaine

With 7 years of experience teaching students and working professionals in finance and accounting, I am a qualified instructor. I enjoy teaching students who want to pursue a career in Finance or who want to gain a better understanding of accounting at the undergraduate or graduate level.
In the last 3-7 years of my teaching profession, I have worked with thousands of students. I've assisted students with themes and subjects as diverse as indirect taxation, information systems, and control audit. Finance is no longer an uninteresting subject for students who have learned it from me.
Apart from private sessions, I assist small and medium enterprises with financial advice and have also assisted business owners in learning the fundamentals of accounting.
I hold a bachelor's degree in Finance from California State University, as well as Chartered Accountancy and Company Secretary degrees from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). I worked as a chartered accountant for three years before deciding to pursue my passion for teaching.
