I've been working in network administration, engineering, and security for a little over 5 years now. However, I've always been more of a teacher than engineer. Throughout my career I've taught soldiers, recent high school graduates, and professionals looking for a career change. I approach network fundamentals by teaching through exams. I first introduce students to CCENT, the most basic network certification, and then to the CCNA, which is an industry standard. I use various programs, real world scenarios, troubleshooting labs, Boson testing software, and emulators to prepare students for the exams, as well as the job.
