I teach all subject areas in Elementary and Middle School. I work with all students regardless of disability or delay. I focus on concept mastery first and incorporate test taking strategies as appropriate. I believe in hands-on instruction and incorporate interactive lessons for all subject areas. I believe every student can succeed given the right tools and instruction. I look forward to helping you and your student experience that success.
My teaching history and experience follows below.
I graduated UT Austin with a focus in Elementary grades. I have worked in a variety of schools, including private, public, and home-school. I taught a Montessori 1st-3rd classroom, then went to teach 3rd grade in a public school. I have experience working with learning disabilities and delays including austism, trauma, dyslexia, and ADD/ADHD. I currently coach teachers and tutors in the classroom as they learn new methods of delivering high quality instruction to their students.
