I'm a current Ph.D. student in materials science and engineering at Texas A&M. I obtained a bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering from the University of Florida in 2018. I've been working with students at the elementary and middle school level in math and science for 8+ years, from reviewing fundamentals with struggling students to helping gifted/advanced students looking to get ahead. I'm passionate about science and engineering fair projects, after competing and judging for over a decade. My focus is on emphasizing the power of research and critical thinking - teaching students that it's okay not to know the answer, as long as you know how to look for it.
