I work for a non profit organization, as a Mission Manager, so, I have real world, professional experience. I have a Masters degree in Public Administration and a Bachelors degree in Government. I was a substitute teacher for grades K-12, from 2010-2015 with a large school district in the area. I have gone through an alternative certification program for a Texas teaching certificate for Special Education K-12 and General Education grades 4-8. I am not a certified teacher but, I am passionate about education, and learning. I also believe in applying differential learning tools and strategies to meet the student "where they are", and to help them learn the material the best way for them. I know how to plan lessons and tailor them for individual learning.
