Hi. My name is Farhan. I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of British Columbia in Canada pursuing a Bachelor of Science. I happen to be very fluent in speaking English and Gujarati and partially fluent in Swahili, Urdu and Hindi.
I taught GED Math and Science at a local community centre as a volunteer for four months and decided to join this network of tutors so that I can reach a larger audience to share with potential students my knowledge and techniques in GED Math and Science. I genuinely enjoy teaching because in my values and ethics, the best gift a human can give to another human is the gift of knowledge. This is why I worked as a volunteer at the community centre.
During my volunteer time, I learnt almost all the material for GED Math and GED Science and got an understanding of the types of questions these two exams ask, the format of the questions, logistics of the exam such as time limits and the computer software they use as well as most importantly, how to teach these important concepts in a way that is comprehensible and interesting to the learner. I used the technique of timed practice exams using the software GED uses to achieve good results from the students.
I think the most important thing you need to do to pass the GED exams is to simple practice! And that is what I will make you do. I will also assign you homework potentially and then go through the answers with you as a way to prepare you. I also suggest that you purchase a GED textbook, whose name and information I will provide to you during our first meeting.
I hope that you find my profile fascinating and that we can start together with your learning journey with GED! :).
