Experienced, certified K-8 Math/Science teacher/tutor. Math was not my favorite subject, so I found creative ways to become better at visualizing word problems, finding the equations, and solving accurately. I enjoy tutoring individuals and small groups, by helping them develop strategies. Science was my favorite subject, which I taught 8th grade for 20 years, my students used to ask me to for help with algebra homework,and I realized they really liked how I helped them understand the math.
