I worked abroad as a guest English teacher for 5 years. During that time I taught elementary students for about 22-28 classroom teaching hours per week. I also taught international students reading comprehension, critical thinking and writing skills after school. In addition, I worked with the city's Office of Education to facilitate international web seminars with student panels and group discussions. I had the honor of interviewing the BBC correspondent for Asia as well as a Korean tv personality and YouTube influencer.
Before living abroad, I was a preschool instructional aide for students aged 3-5 years old. I also taught a sustainable arts and crafts afterschool class for four nearby elementary schools. In my spare time, I tutored preschool and elementary school students in reading comprehension and high school students in proofreading.
