Hi, I'm Nikki! I am currently a student at The University of Texas at Austin and I am pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. I have several years of experience working with children both in and out of classroom settings, and I have 2 years of experience tutoring students of all ages. I love working with students in various subjects (i.e. science, reading, writing), but my true specialty is helping students with mathematics. I believe in providing tutoring sessions in which I can adapt lessons plans to a way that best fits each individual student and help the students in any way possible. I have a broad conceptual understanding of mathematics at an advanced level and always try to convey my love for math to my students. When working with students, my goal is always to help them develop not only understanding but also confidence in what we are working together on. I always try to find ways to make the subject make sense to them and my hope is that they leave our sessions having the knowledge they need to complete their work in the classroom. When working with students I strive to help them develop the skills they need and assist them in their academic success!
