I am a native Austinite with many years of experience in the education field, including teaching high school English Language Arts, planning for and leading an academic-focused after school and summer program for elementary-aged students, tutoring students in various grades in multiple academic subjects, working with students with learning needs, students receiving 504 and Special Education accommodations and modifications in school, non-native English-speaking students, and preparing students for and administering various exams, including the STAAR exam and PSAT. Since I believe that helping others learn is my gift, I meet my students where they are in their learning and grow them from there by providing them with the tools that they need to be successful now and in the future.
