Hello! My name is Michelle Miller. I have been an elementary teacher for 18 year! I love teaching students and watching them learn and grow. I have three wonderful children and a lovely Corgi named Bear. My classes are designed to support foundation skills in math and reading, with science and social studies integration. You will find that my classes offer hands on learn to keep students engaged. I have been teaching for 18 years, I have taught grades Pre-K to 5th grade. I am a certified Reading Specialist as well. I have experience mentoring and coaching new teachers as well.
I believe my role as an elementary teacher is to nurture and encourage the lifelong learning of my students. Through hands-on activities, classroom discussion, and even the use of humor, I hope to prompt students to think creatively and explore their natural curiosity. I want students to feel like confident, and become resilient learners. Creating a welcoming space for learning is so important, I am acutely aware that I am defining the school experience for my students. I work hard to make that experience a positive, nurturing one. I lead by example, always working to improve my own skills in these areas as an educator.
I am so excited to teach your children! I cant wait to meet and connect with you!
