As a PhD student, I've had a lot of opportunities to teach from more formal settings (as a Teacher's Assistant, and guest lecturing) to more informal settings (helping my students understand the finer points of their American Politics lecture and just working closely with my peers on our assignments). Since I'm a PhD student, you figure I probably like school, but I also love teaching, particularly helping others make connections and gain understanding on a wide variety of topics
