I am a published freelance writer and publishing consultant with a commitment to mentoring students to reach their fullest whiz-kid potential. I have had the privilege to teach a medley of subjects and a variety of (third grade to Ph.D. level ) students with an A+ success rate.
My teaching methodology is student-centered. I focus on inquiry-based learning where the "I dunno how" is re-generated into a strong, enthusiastic "Whaaat?! That's fascinating!" This approach encourages teachers and students to investigate why well-covered topics are relevant to our personal present. My goal is to encourage students to think about "how" they learned, not just "what" they learned so they can utilize their inquiry-based skills in future courses.
