Hello! I graduated from the University of Dubuque, Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in English. I have 4 years of office management and 8 years of CNA experience. I also worked as a Teacher’s Assistant/special needs tutor during my high school and college years. I primarily worked with students with learning disabilities and focused my time providing each student one-on-one work time. I feel that it helped the student learn at their own pace and to spend an adequate time on areas that were challenging. Overcoming a learning disability of my own, I know first-hand how frustrating school can be when the material doesn't make sense. I am greatly looking forward to working with student's who may be struggling, but have the desire to succeed and overcome their obstacles.
