I am a former classroom teacher with an English certification. Offering over nine years of experience to students who struggle with reading, writing, and state testing. I provide a thorough analysis of student's strengths and weaknesses to effectively build individualized plans according to their writing and reading needs. I also communicate with parents the sub areas in which the students need the most attention. This method is used to show alignment with his or her teacher; the current curriculum taught and state standards. I incorporate tools and strategies that are sure to yield results in the student's classroom performance. After assessing hundreds of students, providing adequate feedback on writings and conferencing individually with students for years, I have gained an in-depth understanding of writing styles and blocks. As a result of this, I created a writing system that enables students to write beyond two to three sentences and or the page. My sessions are fun, engaging and life connected.
