I received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of North Texas in 2001 in Interdisciplinary Studies. I was awarded a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Lamar University in 2009. I have been a formal educator for the last 17 years, but I started my career as a Children's Minister. I have Elementary and Middle school teaching certifications and was an administrator for a large high school for many years. I feel extremely confident in an array of subjects and all ages of students.
My teaching philosophy is that when teachers teach with passion, they are in the moment with their students: Listening, owning mistakes, voicing confidence and evolving with them.
