I am a passionate and skilled educator whose career mission has been to help students develop strong writing and communications skills. I believe in creating engaging lessons to help students take ownership over their writing in order to better prepare for their future in college and beyond.
About my experience:
For the past 3 years, I have taught English 101 and 102 at the University of South Carolina. Additionally, since January 2018 I have served as Coordinator of the Peer Writing and Communications lab at UofSC, where I supervise, train, and mentor 15+ undergraduate student writing tutors. Prior to that, I served as a writing tutor throughout my undergraduate career at Winthrop University
