About Brittany

Hello! My name is Brittany and I am an Elementary School teacher turned full-time stay at home Mom to my two kids (4yo and 1.5yo). My passion for teaching students runs deep in my family as I am a 4th generation Elementary School Teacher. I love working with kids and helping them develop a love for learning. I specialize in homework help, test prep, learning and study tips and strategies, musical theater, elementary education, organizational skills and goal setting. I have experience with teaching and tutoring students in Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade. With the changes COVID has brought to our learning and education world, I have been working at home developing weekly lesson plans and thematic learning units for my 4 yo and work with her (at home) to develop strong academic skills that will aid her when she goes to Kindergarten next year. I am very patient, kind, outgoing, and strive to be positive role model for all of my students. I develop strong relationships with my students and their families and like to see all of my students succeed in reaching their learning and academic goals! My family and I are taking COVID very seriously and have been following all the guidelines set forth by the CDC (wearing masks in public settings, social distancing, and staying home when possible).
