Hello! My name is Kevin, I am a Veteran of the United States Marines! I'm also a 3rd generation Marine following in my father and his father's footsteps :-). While deployed overseas in Okinawa, Japan I was provided the opportunity to study general courses with UMUC (University of Maryland University College) including English and courses in U.S. History. Following my stay in Okinawa I was then given the opportunity to study U.S. History more in depth with Central Texas College during another deployment to South America while providing humanitarian assistance to impoverished countries. After my trip around the world in the Marines I returned home to R.I. where i then studied Software Engineering at CCRI (community College of R.I.). Here I was able to gather advanced knowledge of Small Business Administration, Mathematics and some more English although this time exploring Composition and composing essays! I am an avid believer in the need for young adults to be introduced to various subjects from which they can choose their personal path doing what they love! Above all, I absolutely love helping to teach those who are motivated and have an interest in the course material. There is no greater reward than helping teach a student that is engaged and shows interest in the subject at hand. If your someone who truly wants to learn and truly enjoys the subject in question, then together we can achieve any academic goal that you have.
