Hello!
My name is Oniel, I'm a current Biomedical Sciences PhD student at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. I'm also a proud alumni of Ursinus College '20!
STEM is not only what I study, but I genuinely enjoy it beyond the classroom. I spent most of my undergraduate career tutoring and teaching informal study sessions in genetics, anatomy & physiology, and general biology. Tutoring should be normalized, affordable, and enjoyable.
Some fun information on me:
I'm a plant and coral collector! I have about 50 plants in my collection and about 30 coral in my reef tank.
I'm also a multi instrumentalist! Focusing on bass guitar, guitar, piano, drums, bari/also saxophone, and even production.
Even though being in a PhD program is busy, it's important to make time for your hobbies and activities.
