Hello scholars. My name is Danita Watson. I am 32 years old. Born July 5, 1989. I am originally from Norristown, Pennsylvania but I moved to Philadelphia at the age of 6 when my father passed away. I graduated from Dobbins High School where I majored in Web Design and Accounting. After I graduated in 2007 I went to Empire Beauty School to obtain my cosmetology license at the age of 18. Doing hair was always a passion of mine. I started to do hair when I was 7 years old. I know that's a very young age to believe I was doing hair but its true. I've always did my own hair and some of my friends. When I turned 22 years old doing hair wasn't as fun for me anymore. I wanted to explore my options so I decided to work for the School District of Philadelphia. I love working with kids, helping them succeed academically and in life all the way around. I have a 6 year old son who has an IEP for speech delay which makes me even more dedicated to help other children with their learning in education. I now work in the Special Education field and I absolutely love it. It takes a lot of patience to work with children that have disabilities and I make sure that I take my time to help them the best way possible everyday. I am looking forward to working with you all.
