I have been a tutor and teacher for the past 15 years, focusing primarily on the SAT and the ACT. I've worked at various boutique test prep companies which has given me the opportunity to integrate best practices. I've worked with students both in the one-on-one context and in group settings at several schools and universities, including AIM Academy in Manayunk, Church Farm School in Malvern, and Temple University. I got a perfect score on the SATs and PSATs and was a winner of the National Merit Scholarship award and was also awarded other academic scholarships at the New College of Florida where I double-majored in Philosophy and Music. I then graduated from Temple University with a master’s degree in English Composition and Rhetoric and continue to teach college-level English and Composition at Temple University. I care deeply about helping my students reach their goals and to that end apply evidence-based methods of teaching to help students get the best outcome on their tests.
