Hi! My name is Jenna. I am a practicing attorney in Philadelphia, PA, with an infant, a Shepard/Husky dog, and seven younger siblings. While I live in Philly, I am a diehard Boston sports fan, but promise I will not lecture you on why Tom Brady is the greatest quarterback of all time.
As an attorney, I spend about 95% of my time writing, proofreading, and public speaking. When I am not in court, deposing witnesses, or reviewing my own work or the work of my colleagues, I am counseling clients and negotiating with opposing counsel. Even before my legal career began, I regularly submitted written work for my educational courses and prepared presentations for both school and "mock trial." Currently, I coach Temple's undergraduate mock trial team, in which I help them prepare for courtroom advocacy through evidentiary lessons, performance sessions, and improvisational objections.
Before graduating from law school, I worked as a volunteer teacher in a local high school teaching students about their constitutional rights through the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy project, using Powerpoint presentations and engaging activities. I also served as a teaching assistant in my law school classes.
The most rewarding experience, though, is teaching my younger siblings, who range from age four to twenty. Not only do I help them with schoolwork, but also with general life lessons about career paths, navigating social issues, and, of course, how to deal with Mom and Dad. I can't wait to teach my own daughter in the same way.
Please reach out to me for help with proofreading, writing, and public speaking!
