About Mike

I received a BA degree in Mathematics from Temple University. In addition to tutoring, I taught mathematics as a recitation instructor at Temple including courses in Finite Mathematics and Calculus.

Mathematics is a way of thinking and problem solving that involves ingenuity and imagination in addition to logic, analysis and computational skills.

My goal is to help you learn about math and how to do it. Both understanding and implementation.

I custom tailor tutoring in an interactive way to each student. It is how both the skill and art of mathematics is taught as part of the overall learning process and ultimately a comprehensive understanding is attained. It is something that cannot always be done during a classroom lecture or from a computer generated learning environment that may only show you how to think like an algorithm.

Whether you need a last minute review session before an exam or semester long tutoring, I can put together a plan that works for you!

Contact me and we can work toward your achievement for your math skills and success.
