My name is Ann and I am a second year medical student at Drexel College of Medicine. I have a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Math and Economics, and a Master's degree in Medical Physiology from Case Western University. I truly enjoy helping others learn and am very passionate about education! It's exciting to help others achieve their full potential in their academic studies using a student centered approach. School did not always come easy to me, but I have worked hard over the years to learn how to learn and understand the "why" behind the concepts in order to gain a deeper understanding and do well on exams. Ultimately, my teaching approach resembles that model. It is important that students walk away feeling confident, and I aim to do this through providing different ways of explaining or teaching topics that works for the individual. I am most knowledgeable in the areas of math, science, and social science subjects; however, I have a broad background in many different areas that I would also be willing to tutor depending on the student's needs! I feel strongly that a tutor should fit both your academic and personal needs so you are comfortable working together and able to get what you need from the process. Feel free to message me, as I would love to chat and see if we would be a good fit!
