Hi there! My name is Lexi and I am a doctoral candidate at La Salle University. I recently graduated from Columbia University where I got my Masters, and during my time there I spent multiple days a week tutoring many different kids who ranged from Ivy-league-esque schools to children with learning disabilities. I try to make my lessons fun but also rewarding and productive. I incorporate "games" when I can to make memorization fun, I include quick study breaks, and I try to find commonalities to make our tutoring sessions enjoyable. I not only help students with the task at hand, but help them learn tools for how to manage their work and how to also organize their materials and learn "how" to study more efficiently. I love school, but it took me a while to realize this passion. I hope I can show your child ways to make studying more enjoyable and enhance their understanding of the course material.
