I am a current MD/PhD student at University of Michigan doing research at the University of Pennsylvania. I have been teaching high school, undergraduate, and medical students for the past 6+ years. This has included tutoring as well as TAing and leading study groups for multiple courses at the undergraduate and medical school level. I was trained as an MCAT tutor by a national test-prep company but prefer to do freelance tutoring. I received top scores on the MCAT (99.1-99.4 percentile overall) and know how to help you approach both standardized tests and tough science courses.
My research is focused on immunology and cellular biology. I have a B.S. with High Honors in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan, and am familiar and love to help out students considering applying to medical or graduate school. Outside of science, tutoring, and medical school I spend a lot of time hiking, kayaking, cooking and exploring local restaurants and breweries in Philadelphia.
