I hold a degree in Mathematics from an accredited university. On paper this means that I have extensive knowledge about the field of mathematics beyond the scope of a high school graduate. I have been taught the fundamentals of mathematics and how to find information about and examine concepts that I have not been taught (usually higher level university mathematics) or those that I am rusty on.

But overall, I learn from others. There will be times where I may learn a way to tutor math that I didn't know before since there may be times that I have to improvise a way to convey the information in a way the pupil will understand. My goal is to convey my love of mathematics to help my pupils succeed.

One philosophy I have been instilled with is that practice makes perfect. You can do the mathematics, I'm just here to guide you along the way if you will let me.
