Hello. My name is Karen Blumling. I have been teaching, tutoring and coaching grade school, adolescent and adult students since 1980 in various reading and writing disciplines in the film and television industry. Additionally, I teach special needs students reading and reading comprehension. I am passionate about transferring my love for the printed word to my students so that they will see and experience first hand the magic, wonder and adventure that reading can bring them.
I am passionate about and have extensive experience working with students honing their acting skills including script cold reading and audition techniques for stage, screen and corporate videos.
