Over the last 20 years, I've independently tutored many people in different subjects. From passing some math tests and turning their D average into a B+, to helping someone pass their two C++ classes they struggled with to graduate with their bachelor's degree, I just generally enjoy walking through the learning process with someone.
My caring, understanding, and joking personality tends to help people feel more comfortable. I also try to help them visualize concepts they struggle to grasp by correlating it to something they are more familiar with. Everyone is capable of learning anything, you just need the right assistance.
