I currently live in Beaver Falls, PA, which is about 40 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. I have lived in a number of locations around the Pittsburgh area, since moving here from my place of birth (Somerset, PA) in October of 1993.
I am a registered, professional civil engineer in seven different states. I also hold a number of additional engineering and engineering/business related certifications.
I have four degrees, including a Masters, Bachelors, and two Associate degrees, all in an engineering related area. I have twenty-two years of experience working as an engineer, and I also serve as an adjunct instructor at Point Park University. I currently teach Environmental Engineering I, Environmental Engineering II, and Elementary Statistics.
Being so heavily involved with the engineering practice, as well as my formal education, along with my additional teaching endeavors (all of which are very heavy with various mathematical procedures), make me a good and knowledgeable option when it comes to selecting a tutor.
I have the real world experience in the application of various mathematical procedures and the formal training and education to provide a very deep breadth of mathematical knowledge. Along with my additional teaching endeavors, I possess the ability to teach and instruct, as well as to approach these situations from various standpoints and points of view, based on my abilities as a university level instructor.
I am a 1993 graduate of Somerset Senior High School, where I played competitive golf and club level hockey.
In my spare time, I continue to occasionally play golf, but the majority of my time is dedicated to my two young children.
