I have much experience helping students ranging from middle school to graduate studies. As early as high school, I tutored students in Chinese and math. I continued teaching through college and have extensive experience tutoring in math subjects ranging from algebra up to calculus, Chinese, chemistry, and SAT/ACT prep. As part of my rigorous biomedical engineering degree, I have taken a wide gamut of courses including premedical courses (biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, etc), and I enjoy teaching all of them. Additionally, I am very familiar with any medical school curriculum or testing including USMLE Step 1 (240+) and 2 CK (260+). I'm also happy to advise any student interested in medicine or considering taking premedical courses in college.
I tutor for both short term and long term. In the short term, I try to equip my student as quickly as possible and develop efficient strategies to perform well on a test. In the long term, I mentor and develop solid foundations and fundamentals on which learning will become easier and quicker. I tailor my teaching style to match the learning style of my student. My schedule is flexible, and I will try my best to accommodate everyone. It's an honor and humbling experience to teach students and see them grow, mature, and excel.
My schedule is flexible and I try my best to accommodate my students. It truly is a great experience to teach students and see them develop, grow, and excel. Please feel free to reach out to me anytime, so we can set up an introductory phone call or Zoom meeting. I have several students willing to vouch for my teaching style and how much I've helped them, so feel free to let me know if you'd like to speak to them before making a decision. Lastly, I offer a free half hour session for introduction/consultation.
