I was born and raised in Brazil and have been in the U.S. for 17 years. I studied French at Alliance Française, Ancient Greek and Portuguese Literature & Language at the University of São Paulo (USP), and graduated from Florida International University (FIU) with a Bachelor’s degree in Portuguese.
I have 2 years of experience teaching Portuguese as a foreign language. My passion and curiosity for languages led me to work in the educational publishing sector, in the production of materials for teachers and learners of American English as a foreign language. Additionally, I have gained multi-cultural awareness from traveling and living in Europe, Asia, North and South America, as well as working on a variety of publishing projects that involved the assessment of cultural sensitivity globally.
