Hey future students. My name is Michael, and I've spent the last seven years working in classrooms with students and teachers as a special education aid. While my greatest joy is reading the stories my students write, and helping them with structure and tone, there is a special place in my heart for math, probably because it was so painful for me as a child. While studying psychology in school, I leaned the value of mindset, and how it contributes to our problem solving abilities. Using these principles, I've had great success helping teachers with decades of experience assist students when traditional methods and current common core practices fail to produce results, especially in fractions. Seriously, I can teach any kid fractions. If your needs are a little more cerebral and abstract, I'm more than happy to help. During my time in college, I noticed that every semester I took philosophy, the class always started full, but only had four students come finals, and I was always one of them. So whether you're having trouble grasping Plato's forms, or having a hard time wrapping your head around apologetics, I'm your Huckleberry.
