I’m a tutor in math, Spanish, and GED. I have experience teaching all ages of students from elementary to adults. I was born and raised in Mexico, where I studied and worked as a Chemical Engineer.
My teaching experience includes being a long term Spanish substitute teacher at a Catholic School, a GED Spanish instructor for Tulsa Community College, a math mentor with the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, as well as many hours volunteering my time helping elementary students with math. I have been a private tutor since 2015.
I enjoy spending time with mi familia, exercising, and playing games that involve numbers and strategy.
I have been told that I am very patient with my students, and they have been very pleased with my assistance. More importantly, they have been successful in learning either Spanish, math, or passing the GED tests. I enjoy helping others to learn. I take as much time as needed to ensure that my students understand. I know that math can be challenging for some people, but I am convinced that with good guidance anyone can succeed with their learning goals. I am looking forward to being your tutor!
