I have been a nurse for 13 years and recently completed my Master's degree with academic distinction. I work full time as a team lead for a large group of nurse case managers that provide services to members of a major health insurance company. My primary responsibilities include supporting staff through clinical decision making, process and policy interpretation, coaching and training. In the past I worked for a large local healthcare organization as a staff and/or charge nurse for the cardiac telemetry step down unit and emergency room. I have assisted several coworkers and my own daughter in obtaining nursing degrees and passing the NCLEX.
