About Cecilia

Cecilia is a passionate educator originally from Lima. She received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology at Saint John’s University, where she specialized in Linguistics and Sustainability, encouraging her to develop various projects related to these subjects including workshops to teach young students about art, environmental issues, and technology. Currently she runs her own project focused on revitalizing Peruvian culture through didactic materials which include bilingual books and video games. After graduation she had the opportunity to work for the New York City Department of Education where she became inspired to adapt a teaching style that reflects each student’s needs and supports them through their own learning journey. In her free time, Cecilia loves to climb walls, and visit art museums.
