About Olivia

Hi! My name is Olivia, and I am currently a Physician Assistant student at Daemen College. This past year, I received my bachelor’s degree in natural science with a minor in biology. I have a passion for medicine and anatomy & physiology. In my spare time, I love tutoring and teaching various subjects including biology, chemistry, general anatomy, algebra and other math specialties. I have prior experience working with and tutoring students individually as well as in group settings. I have tutored Daemen College PA, PT, AT, and biology students for over 2 years in subjects including chemistry, biology, algebra, and anatomy & physiology. I ran weekly chemistry and biology peer-led team learning (PLTL) sessions at Daemen College where I would initially teach students a lesson on the topic at hand, and then further move onto practice questions, which we would then go over together at the end of the session.

My approach to getting students to be successful is providing them with an integrative lesson on the topic at hand with practice questions to follow. I also have many educational videos to recommend to you as well. I have taken all of these classes in the past and excelled in them. I have previously made review guides and helpful mnemonics that I am willing to share you to increase your learning retention. I am thrilled to share my knowledge and begin to help you succeed in school!
