I have been working as a peer and professional tutor for over 6 years. As a Head Writing Fellow at Barnard College I was in charge of editing academic and creative writing assignments for a variety of courses, ranging from English to Architecture to Economics, and was involved in every part of the student's process from brainstorming to the final draft.

After college I began working as a professional tutor in New York, and have become extremely well-versed in the world of standardized testing. In addition to writing and editing I specialize in tutoring both the verbal and math/science portions of middle and high school standardized tests, including the ISEE, SSAT, SHSAT, ACT, and SAT.

I believe that, above all, a student's success stems from an inherent confidence in his or her abilities, and I put a lot of care into maintaining a relationship built upon trust, honesty, and mutual respect.
