I have six years of experience teaching in various capacities, including exam prep tutoring for two years, teaching writing at the middle school, high school, and college levels, and working as an ESL teacher in an NYC public school. I have a masters degree in writing and in teaching English to speakers of other languages. Don't think I am not the person to contact for math help, though--I am well-acquainted with math up to the level of geometry, including NY state Regents examinations in algebra! My biggest strength is in identifying and responding to the needs of my students, and listening to what they want to get out of the tutoring experience.
