As a homeschool parent and teacher, I can use the time to teach or tutor your child in many primary classes. The subjects can be math, social studies like US History, English, writing, and even art.
I will work with your elementary student on an academic subject of your choice. The tutoring session is open to Kindergarten, First, Second, Third, and Fourth graders. Learners will receive one-on-one instruction.
Students and parents are allowed to provide materials and assignments for me to use and review. Parents may also choose to provide me with the topic of interest. It will enable me to gather the appropriate materials needed for the class.
At the start of each session, we will review the topic. I will provide examples and show students how to complete tasks or problems. Students will then be given time to complete tasks and issues on their own with my guidance. At the end of each lesson, I will send parents a message with progress information.
My teaching styles can range from collaborative lecture and discussion to games, slides, and video clips, depending on the needs of the student.
I try my best to make our tutoring sessions engaging and interactive.
To meet the needs of the learner, parents are encouraged to message details regarding where your child needs additional assistance or a subject taught with at least 48 hours before the scheduled tutoring session.
This includes any comments and questions you may have before the tutoring session. Learners can be enrolled in as many sessions that are needed to support their academic needs.
If you don't see a time that works with your schedule, please send me a message or request.
Please email me if you have any questions.
