With over a decade of classroom teaching both in New York City and overseas, I am uniquely positioned to help the diverse population of students in NYC. I've had the pleasure of teaching students from over 20 countries as an international educator in the Middle East. I understand the challenges that face ESL and ELL learners with an American curriculum. I've taught a wide range of learners—from those who struggle to learn to those that struggle to remain engaged. As a classroom teacher, all of the core subjects are my specialty. I also have experience as a visual arts teacher. I will always meet students where they are and quickly customize a prescription that will take them to where they want (or need) to be. My goal is to create learning plans that are rigorous, engaging, and enjoyable.
