I have a Bachelors in Mathematics as well as a minor in Writing from the University of Michigan. Additionally, I am currently a Columbia student working through a post-bacc program for premedical sciences. For the past year I have worked extensively with children and teens on topics ranging from basic numerical fluency, to algebra, to trigonometry and geometry. I have a knack for explaining the tricky concepts that students often struggle with, and several of my students have bumped up a letter grade after working with me. I look forward to working with future students and helping them achieve that "aha" moment whether it is for their next test or essay, or for general understanding!
