I have a Bachelor's degree in Classical Studies and Psychology from Swarthmore, a Master's in Western Intellectual Tradition from the Graduate Center of New York, and I'm currently working on a PhD in English literature at the Grad Center.
I have more than 7 years of tutoring experience. I truly specialize in writing, English, and organization aid. I am passionate about providing one-on-one aid during which I can incorporate concepts in a fun, empathetic, and concise manner. I have conceptual knowledge and training in writing composition, grammar, and English literature at an advanced level and am committed to conveying my love and excitement for English (and learning in general) to my students.
While I specialize in English and the humanities more generally, I also have 5 years of experience in exam prep - particularly the SHSAT, the ISEE, the SSAT, and the SAT and ACT.
