I graduated from the Honors Program at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania where I tutored biology for two years. I've conducted research on invasive species and habitat destruction in Madagascar. For a short time, I pursued a doctorate in urban entomology at Purdue University where I taught an introductory course and assisted with educational outreach. I have worked extensively as a zoo keeper and at a butterfly house, teaching guests about wildlife. I am first and foremost an educator, excelling at taking complex scientific concepts and breaking them down in to easily learned parts. I have found biology to be a field filled with great minds, but few true teachers. Let me help you build your understanding so that you can reach your goals.
