Hello my name is Maya, and I have been teaching/ tutoring for the past ten years. My specialty is tutoring for the SAT verbal section including writing, reading, and grammar. I have also taught lower grades to prepare for the SHSAT (junior high age ) and i have taught elementary and junior high age writing. I believe in empowering my students, and talk to them regularly about discipline and work ethic.
