With a Ph.D. in materials engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, math and algebra have always been my favorite subjects at school. I scored perfectly in GRE Quantitative and a 3.9 GPA in college math classes (calculus 1, 2, 3. Linear Algebra, Calculus AB, BC, Statistics). With more than 10 years experiences in classroom teaching engineering, science, and art, I have been tutoring various math topics (from Middle School to College Calculus) online since 2015 in both private and small group setting. I am super tech-savvy, well organized and enjoy breaking down complex math problem into simple terms.
I have a passion for math. For me, tutoring math, is not only helping students to excel in standardized tests, or gain good grade in a class, but also teaching students who want to learn math, the rule that governs our world, at an extremely thorough, in-depth level.
Blow are the areas of Math I feel comfortable tutoring:
Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre Calculus, Calculus, SAT Math, SAT Subject Math, ISEE Math, SSAT Math, PSAT Math, AP Calculus AB
