About Destiney

I have been tutoring students in many different subjects since I was in high school! During college, I spent 3 years teaching Math and English to middle school students through a local mentoring program I helped organize. I also completed a thesis project on the educational equity of students in Arizona. Although I am currently in school for both my medical and public health degrees, I have always held a genuine passion for education.

I obtained a minor in Statistics and completed multiple mathematics-based research projects in my undergraduate career. These experiences provided a strong understanding of mathematics that has allowed me to better communicate with students. I am also currently in medical school, which means I have previously proved my strong foundation in all of the biological and chemical sciences. The classes I have taken in medical school have further affirmed my knowledge in subjects like Human Anatomy, Genetics, Immunology, Physiology, and many more.

I understand that all students learn differently and I am flexible in my tutoring techniques. I am most interested in my students' success and confidence in their school work. Math, Science, and English can be tough, but the right tutor can really change the game!

My cancellation policy is 1 day (24 hours) before our tutoring session.
