About Tashny

As a New York City Educator and Hunter College Graduate with my Master’s in Education, my personal and professional experiences have given me the ability to be innovative in my work with both adults and children. I have worked with a large range of age groups and ability levels, including working with the gifted and talented and special needs/ differently abled population. I have my BA in English Language Arts and training in foundational reading skills and instruction at the basic level (so I can teach anyone at any age to read as well as get you through those intense college courses... yay! ).

As a result of my hard work, drive and dedication, I have been fortunate enough to be awarded with the Excellence in Teaching Award in Graduate Childhood Education, for best exemplifying the values of the mission of Hunter College’s School of Education. Helping and educating others is my passion and tutoring is by far one of my favorite avenues to reach others and provide instruction.
