Hello, I’m Matthew! I graduated from Queensborough Community College in 2016 with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts: Mathematics and Sciences. I’m currently going to Queens College majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Secondary Education. I’ve enjoyed math every since I started elementary school.
I had experiences working with students in a middle school and high school, assisting them in different areas of math (algebra, geometry, algebra 2/trigonometry) for eight months. I even tutored English Language Learners (Entering Students) who were in 6th and 7th grade. Additionally, I created an engaging lesson plan that relates to their cultural backgrounds.
I want to help students achieve their goals and set them up for success. What makes me happy about tutoring is seeing students make progress along the way.
